Immediate steps required:
1. Check your display software version.
To check the software version:
- Power on the product.
- Check the number illustrated in the bottom right corner of the Limitations on Use screen.

- Refer to the following table to see if your display is affected:

Software versions not listed do not exhibit the datum issue. (If your software is not listed than no further action is required.)
2. Set your DATUM to WGS1984
If your product and software version are listed in the previous table you will need to check your display's datum setting and possibly return it to the default WGS 1984 value.
To do this:
- Press MENU and select CHART SETUP.
- Check the Datum and ensure that it is set to WGS 1984.

Further information
Under default datum operation the issue described in this document will not affect the operation of the Raymarine System. Only by selecting a datum other than WGS 1984 will the error become apparent.
Software Update
A software update to remedy the datum issue described in this document will be made available from www.raymarine.com. Affected displays must only use datum WGS 1984 (also known as WGS84) until the new software has been released.
Users with the affected software are advised to check our web site www.raymarine.com periodically for updates and to continue to use WGS 1984 (also known as WGS84) until the new software can be downloaded.
New software versions will be:
C-Series Widescreen: v1.50
G-Series GPM400: v2.50
