In Europe, most multi-switches have four satellite in ports. The 45 STV only has two RF ports. What are the limitations and how do I set up my antenna?
Answer
The four satellite in ports correspond to the Vertical Low band, Horizontal Low band, Vertical High band, and Horizontal High band. Since you only have two RF cables on the antenna, you have to decide whether to watch programming in the low band or in the high band at any one time. If your programming is in the low band, the RF1 cable should connect to the Vertical Low port and the RF2 cable should connect to the Horizontal Low port.
